I have tried so many different types of footwear for boat and bank fishing. Hiking boots are great for long walks but are not as dry or warm as insulated Skeetex wellies. The Skeetex wellies are warm and dry but very uncomfortable for walking any distance in.
Muck boots were recommended by members on the PAC forum, they were right!!! These boots are simply like wearing trainers but with good grip and warmth. The Derwent, like all Muck Boots are made from neoprene with a rubber lower coating, this makes them comfortable and warm. The only time that I do not wear them is in extreme sub zero conditions when I switch to Baffin Trapper Boots

The upper part of the boot is stretchable and will fit virtually any calf. They can be rolled down in hot weather for extra ventilation, and for easy, hands-free removal.
Warm & Dry
The Derwent has a removable insole, and the entire foot area has a reinforced rubber external covering which will stay flexible for years. They are lined with a thin moisture-control double terry lining, designed to draw perspiration away from the foot. This keeps the inside dry, which in turn adds to the warmth of the boots.
