For most of my fishing I wear Derwent Muck Boots, these are perfect for the majority of fishing situations; except in extreme sub zero temperatures when static bait fishing. There is nothing worse than sitting for several hours with cold toes, call me a wimp but I soon lose all enthusiasm to fish when my feet are cold !
Last season I decided to sort the problem out and did a lot of research into extreme weather boots. I discovered a Canadian brand "Baffin" and they specialise in such footwear for outdoor activities. I settled upon their Trapper boot and I used these all last season for boat and bank fishing during winter. I can tell you that they are definitely the warmest boots that I have ever worn!!!
